Huggard is a registered charity comprising of a Day Centre, Emergency Bed Unit and supported houses offering support and resettlement in the Community.

The Centre is located at the north of Cardiff Bay, Cardiff, Wales.

Huggard (formerly C.A.S.H.) was founded to meet the needs of vulnerable people, who are not only homeless but often find themselves in a despairing and isolated position, by providing an opportunity of Shelter and Sanctuary within an ethos of friendship and care so as to enable them to take the first steps in their rehabilitation.

It follows therefore that the some provision MUST be made to accommodate the most vulnerable and socially excluded people who will not be acceptable for admission to standard Hostel or other accommodation for homeless people by reason of their current mode of living which may result from drug abuse, alcoholism or mental illness etc.
